This week we’re taking a deeper glimpse into our lives. How we got here, decisions that we’ve made, those who have mentored us, and those who have hurt us. It’s an easy week because it requires nothing more than making a list… some of those names you scribe may be filled with emotions. It may bring back painful or joyful memories, but the power lies within us to thank or forgive others.

Finally, if you didn’t get a chance to dig into a new book, try to go out and find one. It’s an easy getaway from life with tremendous benefits. If you missed out on picking a book up and need a recommendation, check out this list of some of my favorite reads.

Your Fifth Happiness Challenge:

Please write down three people in each of the categories below and as the week progresses, consider if you need to modify the list — it’s your list and it’s personal to you. You can also add more than three if you’d like. Please list:

–3 people who’ve helped shape you into the person you are today.
–3 people who you admire.
–3 people who have hurt you -or- that you’ve had a misunderstanding with.
–3 people who mean a lot to you but you don’t see them or talk to them as much as you’d like.

Some of these lists may bring up some regrets, some may not. Check out the following video to discover other people’s biggest regret in life. “We cannot control the wind, but we can control the sail.” #PursuitofPerspective
